Space Ghost

Obvi and I were listening to some Tom Petty tonight when had a mutual Totally Geek Moment.  Obvi referred to it as having something to do with the Dennis Miller Ratio.

The Moment:  We were listening to Don't Come Around Here No More and I said "It's Cellular Peptide Cake--with mint frosting!!", as I always do when I hear that song.  He got it and laughed.  I was overjoyed.  :)  We connect on so many levels.

The References:  (1)  The video for that song is an Alice in Wonderland theme.  In one part they are eating a cake that is Alice's body.  (2) In Star Trek: The Next Generation there is an episode that has a dream sequence where Worf is eating a piece of cake that is part of Counselor Troi's body.  When Data asks him what he's eating, he looks up and says "It's Cellular Peptide Cake--with mint frosting!!"

The Really Great Thing: I'm pretty sure neyther of us has seen that video nor that episode in years.

I love him so much I'm going to marry him.  Isn't it great?  :)
